British Rose Veal

The RSPCA say, “If you drink milk you should eat Rose Veal!”.

You can read more about why they say Eat British Veal with a clear conscience

Please do not confuse this meat with the cruel crated European meat. British Rose Veal is available from male calfs of dairy herds. If we don’t eat them after a shortish (6 months) but happy healthy life, they would be killed for dog meat or shipped to the continent.

We work with a farm in Ness, and take all their male calves off them at 6 months to ensure we are respecting their life and enjoying their meat. Rose veal has a delicate flavour which is becoming a real desirable in many fine dining and discerning chefs kitchens. Why not try some?
