Local butcher in Wirral
Edge and Son is a traditional local butcher serving the public and trade customers across Wirral, Liverpool and Cheshire from our shop in New Ferry and at Church Farm Shop near Heswall.
We offer the very best meat including:
- Beef including Dexter and Longhorn breeds from Cheshire and Wirral
- Local Black Faced Suffolk and Ryland lamb from Willaston and North Wales
- Gloucester Old SpotĀ and Saddleback pork from Wirral
- Our own special rare bred poultry from Willaston and North Wales
- Hebridean and Jacob mutton from Wirral and Cheshire
- British Rose veal from Wirral
- Game in season
- We make all of our own sausages and burgers from our rare breed stock.

The lowest food miles
With our own abattoir and meat sourced from local farms - our average food miles are under 25 so you can be sure of the provenance of all our produce.

RSPCA Good Business Awards
We are delighted to announce that we have been recognised again by the RSPCA, being winning the 2012 Independent Food Retailers section.

Callum and Debbie collect the RSPCA Award for Independant Retailer of the Year for the second time!
This is in addition to winning the Good Business Award in 2009 and being finalists in 2010 and 2011.
